Ages will range from six to 18 years old. this program is an excellent “first step” for swimmers new to competitive swimming. swim meets will be held approximately once per week, starting in mid-May and continuing through the first week of July. meets are in the evenings and will last approximately two-to-three hours.

programs:
- lap swimming:
lap swimming for all ages (children 12 and under will require adult supervision) will be available all day, everyday, during e-Fitness & Wellness’ operating hours. lane availability and pools open for lap-swimming use may vary due to bather loads, but facilities always will be available for active lap swimming. the aquatics department will do everything it can to post lap-swimming schedules in our areas to communicate how many lanes are open for lap swimming and in which of the two lap-swimming pools.
- SwimAmerica
Learn to Swim Program (NOT Swim Lessons):

e-Fitness & Wellness is proud to be the home of Mississippi’s only licensed SwimAmerica program. the SwimAmerica program is the state-of-the-art learn-to-swim program in the world and is a national program run by the American Swimming Coaches Association. classes will begin during the Christmas Holidays and initially will be open to children ages five and up. as we bring our programs online, we will expand our ages to include both infants (six months and older) and adults. group classes will be encouraged as this is the best setting for most children to learn, but private instruction also will be available. SwimAmerica is unique in that our instructors are trained coaches, skilled in the art of teaching swimming … we teach kids how to swim, we do NOT offer swim lessons.
schedule: monday-thursday 5 p.m., 6p.m., 7 p.m.
program consists of one 40 minute session per week for 10 weeks.
cost: $80 for members & $100 for nonmembers
- personal instructions:
private lessons will be available for swimmers of any age and ability. when possible, we would encourage participation on our teams and in our learn to swim program, but we recognize that there are special needs when it comes to the aquatic environment. we will work with our members to develop programs of instruction that are structured around specific, measurable goals and to inspire an appreciation of the joys aquatics can provide for a lifetime. it’s never too late to learn!
